Kaira's lyric's

I chose these lyrics because people always wish that they were movie stars or singers because they have great clothes, shoes, jewels and the whole fabulous life but with all that comes stuff that it not so pretty and can really ruin someone's life but people only think that they have it good and forget everything else.

Thoedores trip to the Police Office

In one of the parts in the book Small Steps Theodore goes to the police station to see X-Ray being questioned for selling fake tickets. First, Theodore got picked up by a police car and asked the police man if he could sit in the front seat so people would not think he was getting arrested. When he got to the police station he went to a room where Detective Newberg ( the women on the case) and a big box of pizza. Detective Newberg told him to sit in a chair, eat some pizza and just watch her question X-Ray. I could tell that when Theodore realized it was X-Ray that he was really scared. in the middle of being questioned, Detective Newberg told told X-Ray that there was a specilitst was on the other side of the 2-sided mirror watching the interviw. X-Ray waved and Theodore waved back at him but he knew X-Ray could not see him. At the end of the questioning X-Ray was let out with no charges and Theodore had lost his appetite.

Fave Character

My favorite character is Kaira. The reason is that I can understand how she feels easily even though I can't relate to her. I feel bad for her and I would love to be friends with her because we could talk about stuff with each other and understand what they mean. She could teach me stuff about love and being a singer and I could teach her stuff about what it's like to be in the 6th grade this year.

Small Steps!!!

I'm reading the book Small Steps in my humanities class. It is about a boy who went to a camp called camp green lake and when he got out he wanted to turn his life around. Now he would like to be called by his real name Theodore. His friend X- Ray knows he has money so he tries talking him into give him money to buy tickets for a Kaira De Leon concert so he can sell them again for more money. In other words he is gonna be a ticket scalper. Kaira De Leon is an African American pop star. Theodore's neighbor has cerebral palsy and has a lot of seizes. Her name is Ginny. Theodore decides that he wants to ask Tatiana (a girl in his speech class) to go with him to the concert. When she says yes he gets happy and then her friends make fun of her and she has to make an excuse to not go with him. So he believes her excuse and he decides to take Ginny instead. When they are at the concert Ginny has a seizure and the cops come over and they want to check his tickets so he hands them the tickets and what he didn't know is that X-Ray copied the tickets and gave them to him. Then the cops get into a fight with him and they go to the hospital at the concert and they meet Kaira Deleon there and she offers to watch from backstage and they take the offer.
